Downtown moviegoers can now enjoy all-stadium seating in a new 12-screen multiplex. Carmike Cinemas has opened its new downtown theater, The Majestic, one block to the south of the Bijou. This multiplex is the first phase of a 100,000 square foot commercial development project that will include the retrofitting of the current 25,000 square foot Bijou Theater space and the construction of 30,000 square feet of new mixed-use commercial space adjacent to the new theater.
