MLK/University Business District

Adjacent to the Central Business/Warehouse Row District is the MLK/University District. Also known locally as the “Big 9”, the district features museums, nightclubs, and dining destinations. The recently completed UTC Place Apartments has added over 1,600 student beds that connects the district’s commercial area to campus. The University and the MLK commercial corridor are also on the cutting edge of technology with the SimCenter that is bringing new commercial opportunities to the district and the city.
